FeatherQuest joined a local nature school for a fun birding scavenger hunt filled with curious campers, pelicans, orioles, warblers, and wildlife discoveries.

Find incredible birds with experienced birder Mike Marshall (founder of FeatherQuest). This guided, family-friendly bird walk is part of the Provo City Library’s Library Adventures series. Come ready with sunscreen, bug spray, and your best eyes for birding. No experience needed—just curiosity and a love for the outdoors.

FeatherQuest will be part of the Wings & Things Vendor Fair during the Great Salt Lake Bird Festival. Come stop by the FeatherQuest booth to explore birding resources, chat about getting started, and connect with the local birding community. We’ll be there on Saturday only, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Whether you're brand new to birding or already hooked, come say hello and see what FeatherQuest is all about.

The FeatherQuest Bird Photo Exhibit is part of the Utah County Art Board Local Artist Spotlight, featuring a living bird photo wall designed to evolve over time. This exhibit brings bird photography into a physical space where each image represents a real moment of discovery. The wall itself is designed to grow and change as new birds, better photos, and new stories are added. Free parking is available on the east side of the building. Stop by anytime during the exhibit run to experience the full gallery in person.

The evening brings together local organizations and community members who care about strengthening community life. The event is co-sponsored by the Center for Expanding Compassion and Engage: A Forum for Civic Renewal.

The Great Backyard Bird Count is a global citizen-science event where bird lovers everywhere help create a real-time snapshot of bird populations. This is a casual, beginner-friendly bird walk focused on observation, curiosity, and enjoying whatever birds we find. No experience required. Meet at the main parking lot near the lake — look for Mike with a camera. Come and go anytime.
