You’re in the Right Place

If you scanned this from the gallery— or found your way here from FeatherQuest — you’re in the right place. This page connects the physical exhibit to the stories, birds, and ideas behind it.
This exhibit is part of the Utah County Art Board Local Artist Spotlight (May 1 – June 27) and is on display at the Utah County Health & Justice Building. It features a living bird photo wall designed to evolve over time as new moments are captured.
About the Wall
This gallery started as a personal project — a way to bring bird photography off the screen and into a living, physical space. Unlike traditional framed prints, this system is designed to evolve. Photos can be swapped, upgraded, and replaced as the journey continues.
The structure stays the same — but the stories change.
Getting started with FeatherQuest
FeatherQuest is built around one simple idea: noticing is the first step. This wall is a collection of those moments — birds that stood out, stories that stuck, and experiences that shaped the journey. Whether this is your first bird or your hundredth, you’re already on the path.

Need a Little Help?
Not sure what you saw? That’s part of the process — and it’s exactly how this all began.
Merlin Bird ID is the one tool I recommend to everyone. Audio ID alone lets you start birding without binoculars, a camera, or any prior knowledge.

You don’t need experience, gear, or a checklist to begin. Birding starts with noticing — and this guide will help you take your first real step.
