FeatherQuest: Act Local Community Night
FeatherQuest will be participating in the 2nd Annual Act Local Community Night, an open-house community event focused on connection, engagement, and collaboration. The evening brings together local organizations and community members who care about strengthening community life in Utah County. The event is co-sponsored by the Center for Expanding Compassion and Engage: A Forum for Civic Renewal.

What You'll Find Here

FeatherQuest events are simple by design: a place, a time, a handful of target birds, and the joy of noticing together—whether you're brand new or already keeping a life list.

Some outings are public field trips. Some are workshops. Others are partner events with libraries, schools, and local groups. This page is the home base for what’s coming up next.

Event Types

Field Trips

Short, welcoming bird walks with target birds, quick tips, and space to learn at your own pace.

Workshops

Skill-focused sessions—birding basics, Merlin/eBird setup, or bird photography fundamentals.

Partner Events

Library programs, school groups, homeschool outings, preserves, and community collaborations.
